The Most Important Decision of Your Life.

Salvation

What is the gospel? What is Salvation? Why should any of it matter to me?

❋ Believe

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus], that whoever believes in Him [Jesus] should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)

❋ Repent

Be real with God. Identify sin within your life and turn away from it, and turn to Jesus. The Bible states “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19). Who doesn’t need times of refreshing in this crazy world?!

❋ Turn

Go the exact opposite way you were headed, move towards God and a life professing that Jesus is who He said He is. “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

❋ Follow

Find a church near you to show you the Way. Ask about baptism. Seek God in all things and your path will be made clear.

“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)

“God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.” (1 Timothy 3:15)

Your Life’s Most Important Decision

Believe. Repent. Turn. Follow.

It is a sobering statistic, but the death rate on this earth is 100%.

Our days are limited, which leads to the most important question you will ever ask: What is my purpose, and what happens next?

You may be facing a trial, sensing a void that nothing seems to fill, or wondering where you will spend eternity. You aren't alone. The Bible says God has set eternity within the heart of mankind—an innate awareness that there is more to this life than what we see. There is only one way to fill that void: Jesus Christ.

How to Be “Saved”: Simple Steps to a New Life

1. Acknowledge Your Need

The first step is being honest. None of us measure up to God's perfect standard.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

2. Believe in Jesus

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross to pay for your sins, and that He rose again on the third day. He is alive, and He loves you.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

3. Repent of Your Sins

Repentance simply means to change your mind—to turn away from your old life and turn toward Jesus.

"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come..." (Acts 3:19)

4. Confess Your Faith

Proclaim your decision. There is power in speaking your new commitment out loud.

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

5. Be Baptized

Baptism is your public declaration of an inward change. It is a vital step in following Jesus' example (Mark 16:16).

A Prayer of Salvation

Even after decades of following Christ, we still hold close to the heart of this prayer. If you are ready to change your destiny today, pray this sincerely:

Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I believe in You, Jesus. I believe that You are the Son of God, born of a virgin, and that You died on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins. I believe You rose from the grave on the third day. I now repent of my sins. Please forgive me. I ask You to be my Savior, my Lord, and my King. Amen.

I Prayed the Prayer... Now What?

If you sincerely prayed that prayer, you are part of the family of God! Here is how to begin your journey:

  • Talk to God: You now have direct access to Him through prayer. Bring Him your worries, fears, and joys.

  • Read the Word: Start with the Book of John in the New Testament. If you need a Bible app, we recommend YouVersion or Logos. For a clear, modern translation, try the NLT (New Living Translation).

  • Find a Church Home: Join a Bible-believing community that honors Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

  • Tell Someone: We would love to hear about your decision!
